Rebecca Rayner is a partner in the Perez Morris Columbus office, specializing in representing employers in Ohio workers’ compensation claims before the Ohio Industrial Commission and in state court, as well as handling general liability litigation and trucking matters. With extensive experience in insurance defense, Rebecca has a well-established background managing a range of issues including trucking, premises liability, and general liability cases.

Rebecca’s recent focus has been on defending employers in workers’ compensation claims and handling complex trucking-related litigation. Her prior experience includes roles in insurance defense, where she managed numerous cases. Rebecca graduated from Ashford University with a degree in Organizational Management, before pursuing her Juris Doctor at the Capital University Law School.

After 21 years in the U.S. Navy, Joshua, Rebecca’s husband, has retired, and they are excited to return to the Dayton, Ohio area with their two children. They’ve lived in five states and two countries during his service, but Ohio has always felt like home. Outside of her work advocating for clients, Rebecca enjoys spending time with her family and supporting their favorite sports teams: the Ohio State Buckeyes and the University of Dayton Flyers.
